What is hypnosis?

Hypnotherapy is a wonderful tool to successfully work with past trauma and self-limiting habits.

It’s important to understand that hypnosis is a means of using your unconscious mind to help you change, access resources from within and assist your development towards your goals. Developing an interactive relationship with your unconscious mind is a very powerful tool.

Hypnosis can be used for a wide variety of concerns such as phobias, general anxiety, depression, performance enhancement for memory, sports, career goals, etc.

How does a hypnosis session work?

The hypnosis session is formatted differently from individual therapy. The sessions are two hours long.

The first 30 to 45 minutes or so is gathering information about your concerns and the impact on your life. I also get information about your goals and address methods of self-sabotage and counter measures. This information is used in your personalized induction.

The last part of the session will be the trance work, using your clearly defined goals to create post-hypnotic suggestions to help you achieve what you are looking for. Results vary with individuals.
